Liquor vend worker assaulted

PANCHKULA:A liquor vend worker was injured when he was attacked by two persons after he stopped them from carrying illegal liquor, near Kharag Mangoli village, in the district, on Friday.

A liquor vend worker was injured when he was attacked by two persons after he stopped them from carrying illegal liquor, near Kharag Mangoli village, in the district, on Friday. 

Victim Sahib Kumar (32) in his complaint to the police said he was going from gate no 3 towards gate no 4 near the village. He said the accused whom he identified as Monu and Prince, were coming from opposite direction and were carrying illegal liquor on their motorcycle. When he directed them to stop, the accused hit him on his hand with a rod causing fracture in his fingers. 

He said the accused left the liquor at the spot and fled from the site threatening him that if he stopped them from selling liquor, they would kill him. A case has been registered in this regard. — TNS
