Man held for stalking

A Sector 45 resident has been arrested for stalking and outraging the modesty of a woman.

According to the police, the victim alleged that the accused, identified as Tarminder Singh Chaudhary, allegedly stalked and sexually harassed her. In her complaint, she alleged that the accused followed her and threatened her that he had her objectionable pictures which he would share it with others.

The complainant alleged that he also sent her objectionable pictures to someone on email. 

The FIR mentions that the accused also passed lewd comments on the victim and blackmailed her. The victim alleged that the accused claimed that he would spoil her matrimonial life. 

On the woman’s complaint, a case under Sections 354, 354A, 354D, 506 and 509 of the IPC and the IT Act was registered at the Sector 34 police station. The accused was arrested and produced in court, which sent him to two-day police remand.
