Man held with heroin, vials

Chandigarh: The crime branch of the UT police has arrested a man with heroin and banned injections. According to the police, the suspect, Atul Sharma, a native of Mandi district in Himachal Pradesh, was arrested while possessing 30 gm of heroin and 30 banned injections. He was arrested on a tip-off from the road separating Sector 48 and 49. The police said the heroin and injections were supposed to be sold to drug addicts in the city. A case has been registered under the NDPS Act at the Sector 49 police station. TNS
