Minerva warm up for I-League campaign with a 3-0 win

CHANDIGARH:Minerva Punjab defeated Sudeva FC 3-0 to storm into the final of the Jammu & Kashmir Invitational Football Tournament.

Minerva Punjab defeated Sudeva FC 3-0 to storm into the final of the Jammu & Kashmir Invitational Football Tournament. The Minerva boys took the lead in the 13th minute as their Ghanian midfielder William Opoku netted the first goal. 

Minerva scored their second goal through substitute Manandeep in the 58th minute. In the 70th minute, Amandeep scored the third goal. In the final, Minerva will face Real Kashmir at the TRC Synthetic Turf Football Stadium, Srinagar on October 23. 

In the I-League, Minerva will take on Churchill Brothers on October 28 and Real Kashmir FC at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3, on October 31.

Minerva’s opening match against Churchill Brothers 

Minerva released their I-League schedule for the first two matches. In the first match, the defending champions will play Churchill Brothers on October 28, followed by their second match against Real Kashmir FC on October 31 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3.
