Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Public School, Sector 27, Chandigarh, organised its annual function, ‘Utsav Umang Tarang’, at Makhan Shah Lobana Auditorium.



Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgarhia Public School, Sector 27, Chandigarh, organised its annual function, ‘Utsav Umang Tarang’, at Makhan Shah Lobana Auditorium. The event under the theme of ‘Incredible India’ began with ‘shabad gayan’ and ‘Ganesha stuti’, followed by patriotic songs and ramp walk by tiny-tots. Principal Sudesh Kohli read out the school’s annual report. The event concluded with a bhangra performance.

DC Model, Panchkula

DC Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 7, Panchkula, organised its annual cultural extravaganza ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’. The event began with a prayer dance, followed by a welcome dance. The highlight of the show was a classical Sufi dance.

Ryan International, Mohali

Ryan International School, Mohali, organised a storytelling session for the Montessori students. The session was very interactive as students asked questions as the story progressed. It developed their visualisation capacity and imagination.

GMSSS-35, Chandigarh

Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 35-D, Chandigarh, celebrated World Disability Day. An awareness rally was taken out to mark the occasion. Students of cluster no. 8 in events such as 50m race, relay race, lemon race, rope skipping and poster making. 

Sri Guru Harkrishan, Chandigarh

The Hindi Department of Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School, Sector 40-C, Chandigarh, organised an inter-house poetry recitation competition, ‘Nav Ras’, for students of Classes IX and X. Sneha of Sahibzada Ajit Singh House stood first, while Nikita, Simranpreet Kaur and Khushpreet Kaur bagged the second and third positions, respectively.

AKSIPS-45, Chandigarh

Tiny-tots of the pre-Primary wing of AKSIPS-45 Smart School were made aware of all emergency helpline numbers and community helpers. The numbers of the police stations, fire stations and hospitals were highlighted. 

The Holy Wonder, kharar

To bring out the latent talent in children, a talent hunt competition was held at The Holy Wonder Smart School. Every student was given ample opportunities to participate and showcase their talent. They competed in a number of competitions such as narrating stories, dance, etc. The aim was to nurture the intrinsic qualities of students and remove the fear of stage among them. Director of the school, Ashween Arora, was also present on the occasion.
