A resident of Sector 40 has been booked for eve-teasing.
According to the police, the victim alleged that Parveen eve-teased and threatened her near his house in Sector 40.
The police were informed about the incident, following which a case under Sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 354-A (sexual harassment) and 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered at the Sector 39 police station. — TNS
