One booked for causing death due to negligence

PATIALA:The police have registered a case of causing death due to negligence after a man was killed in a road accident in Banur.

The police have registered a case of causing death due to negligence after a man was killed in a road accident in Banur. The accused has been identified as Baljeet Singh, a resident of Salempura Sekhan village. 

The complainant Manish Sachdewa of Rajpura, stated to the police that the accused rammed his vehicle into his father’s motorcycle on September 26. The complainant’s father Lachman Das was killed in the accident. The police have registered a case against accused Baljeet Singh under Sections 279 (Rash driving) and 304-A (Causing death by negligence) of the IPC.
