Poor apprised of cyber crimes at special camp

PANCHKULA:Justice Ajay Kumar Mittal here today lauded the District Legal Services Authority for creating legal awareness among the poor through a special camp at the Mansa Devi temple.

Justice Ajay Kumar Mittal here today lauded the District Legal Services Authority for creating legal awareness among the poor through a special camp at the Mansa Devi temple.

Justice Mittal, who is the Executive Chairman of the Haryana State Legal Services Authority, Panchkula, after paying obeisance at the shrine, visited the camp with Puneesh Jindia, Member Secretary, and Vivek Goyal, Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority. He distributed wheelchairs among differently-abled persons.

Goyal said the camp was organised in coordination with the Earth Saviours’ Foundation (NGO), State Bank of India and the cyber crime branch, Madhuban, Karnal. He said the special focus was to impart awareness among people about cyber crime. 

He said people were being made aware by bank officials about online frauds.
