PU faculty gets award

CHANDIGARH: Dr Vandita Kakkar, Assistant Professor in University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), PU, has been bestowed with the Bharat Vikas Award by the Institute of Self Reliance (ISR) on World Aids Day on December 1 at Press Club of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Dr Vandita Kakkar, Assistant Professor in University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), PU, has been bestowed with the Bharat Vikas Award by the Institute of Self Reliance (ISR) on World Aids Day on December 1 at Press Club of Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

She was given a trophy and certificate. The honour is given to a selected few people and organisations. Dr Kakkar is an active researcher with more than eight years of teaching and research experience. Emphasis of her work is the translation of the novel formulations research produced in laboratory. Previously, she has received funding for research projects from several government agencies.
