CHANDIGARH:CISF Delhi will face Punjab Police, Jalandhar, in the 57th All-India Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial (College and Club) Football Tournament final at SGGS College, Mahilpur, on Wednesday.

Chandigarh, February 19 

CISF Delhi will face Punjab Police, Jalandhar, in the 57th All-India Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial (College and Club) Football Tournament final at SGGS College, Mahilpur, on Wednesday.

In the semifinals, CISF registered a 2-0 win over Indian Air Force, Delhi.

Santosh Kumar scored the opening goal for CISF in the 18th minute. The side doubled its lead in the 90th minute through Baljinderpal Singh.

Jaideep Singh, meanwhile, struck twice to help Punjab Police defeated Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, 3-1. 

RCF took the lead through Baltej Singh a minute before the lemon break, but  Harjinder helped Punjab Police restore the parity in the 51st minute. Jagdeep then struck in the 65th and 70th minutes to seal a 3-1 win for the cops.

In the college category match, Football Academy, Paldi, beat DAV College, Jalandhar, 1-0. Talbir Singh scored the lone goal of the match in the 26th minute.
