MOHALI:Top seed Rijul Bhatia defeated Chaitanya Aggarwal 6-0 6-1 to advance to the main draw of the boys’ U-14 category in the Roots-AITA (CS-7) National Ranking Championship at Roots Tennis Academy.

Top seed Rijul Bhatia defeated Chaitanya Aggarwal 6-0 6-1 to advance to the main draw of the boys’ U-14 category in the Roots-AITA (CS-7) National Ranking Championship at Roots Tennis Academy. Jashan Gupta defeated Narottam Singh 6-1 6-2 and Pratham Krishan overpowered Parmarth Kaushik 2-6 6-3 6-2. 

Siddharth defeated Saram Singh 6-0 6-1, Sannat Goel overpowered Samarpit Bhatia 6-3 6-1, while Udbhav Kaplish beat Anshu 6-1 6-2 and Uday Batra beat Jashandeep Singh 6-1 6-0. In the boys’ U-18 category, top seed Dipin Wadhwa defeated Paras Singla 6-1 6-0 and while Aryan Windlass blanked Nishank Thakur 7-5 6-0. Gurustat defeated Rishi Dahiya 6-2 6-0 and Aakarshit Mahajan beat Lakshya Gupta 6-1 6-0. Yuvraj Singh beat Amrit Pal 6-1 6-3. Samrvir Sran defeated Gautam Batra 6-3 6-1,Dhairya Chadha beat Arnav Harsh 6-4 6-3 and second seed Uday Vir Singh beat Alok Hajare 6-1 6-2.
