CHANDIGARH: Ravi Kant Sharma and Gurbax Rawat, area councillors of Ward Nos. 3 & 9, on Saturday started tree plantation drives in their respective areas.

Ravi Kant Sharma and Gurbax Rawat, area councillors of Ward Nos. 3 & 9, on Saturday started tree plantation drives in their respective areas. Ravi Kant Sharma started the drive by planting a sapling of ‘neem’ in Moonlit Park, Sector 22, and planted 100 other saplings in parks of the area. Gurbax Rawat started the drive by planting shrubs in a green belt in Sector 40. During the drive, around 100 shrubs and trees were planted inside and outside the parks. — TNS
