Chandigarh, July 13
The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Friday put the Chandigarh Administration on notice on a petition challenging the location of the liquor vend in CHB Complex, Sector 38 (West), Chandigarh.
Taking up the petition filed by BS Walia and other petitioners against the UT Administration, the Division Bench of Justice Rajesh Bindal and Justice Amit Rawal also fixed July 31 as the next date of hearing in the case. The standing counsel for the UT Administration, Suvir Sehgal, was served the notice.
