Think tank Suvichar recommended legal reforms for speedy delivery of justice during its seminar held at the Army Institute of Law (AIL) here on Thursday. 

The topic for the seminar was — the need for legal reforms with special emphasis on speeding up the judicial process. 

Ved Parkash Malik (retd), former Army Chief General, was the chief guest on the occasion. 

Senior advocate ML Sarin, also the founder member of Suvichar and Vivek Atray, convener, were the key speakers. 

Gen VP Malik highlighted the importance of remembering our fundamental values of honesty, integrity and professionalism throughout our lives, while advocate Sarin said executive, legislature and judiciary needed to work together in order to bring out the judicial reforms. Vivek Atray said there was a need for establishing an appropriate procedure to keep a tab on the judicial system.
