Shishu Niketan Model School

Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22-D, Chandigarh, celebrated its annual function “Splash-2018” with great fanfare on the school campus. After welcoming Principal Amita Khorana and Director Rakesh, the programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Students of Class XI welcomed guests and parents by performing ‘Saraswati vandana’. The tribute to mother and the Motherland by the students of Classes IX and X was followed by prize distribution to meritorious students of Classes X and XII. The Principal presented the annual report of the school. 

Gurukul Global School

Class VIII students of Gurukul Global School organised a rally on the school campus to make students and staff members aware about the disposal of e-waste. They made beautiful and thought provoking posters on the subject. The students also discussed the harmful effects of e-waste and why it was important to collect e-waste separately and hand it over to the authorised agency for disposal.

Saupin’s School

The pre-primary wing of Saupin’s School, Sector 32, Chandigarh, celebrated Dasehra with enthusiasm by learning about the victory of good over evil. Stories were told to the tiny tots about the victory of Lord Rama and his righteous conduct throughout his life. The students enacted scenes from the Ramayana. 

Shemrock School

Students at Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69, Mohali, celebrated Dasehra with passion and ardour. A stunning one-act Ramlila was staged by the students in which they enacted scenes from the Ramayana. — TNS
