Shuttlers Harshdeep, Sehajpreet win

LUDHIANA:Harshdeep Singh claimed the top spot in the boys’ U-17 badminton competition organised by the Punjab Sports Department under the Tandarust Punjab Mission, in Ludhiana on Saturday.

Harshdeep Singh claimed the top spot in the boys’ U-17 badminton competition organised by the Punjab Sports Department under the Tandarust Punjab Mission, in Ludhiana on Saturday. Prabhjot Singh finished second. 

Sehajpreet Kaur pipped Navdeep Kaur to top the chart in the girls’ U-17 category.

Simran on top

In judo, Simran won the girls’ U-14 title in the 32kg competition. She was followed by Baani and Himani in second and third places, respectively.

In the 36kg weight category, Diksha bagged the top honours, while Ishika claimed the second spot. Vaishnavi was third. — TNS
