Swami Smaranananda Giri, General Secretary of the Yogoda Satsanga Society of India, YSS, addressed a large gathering at Tagore Theatre on ‘Winning the Battle of Life through Meditation’ here on Saturday.
Giri said: “There is no other way than meditation to combat the stresses and tensions that are a part and parcel of every person’s life in this era. Daily practice of meditation can go a long way in ensuring inner peace and calmness.”
He said yoga meditation was a way of life and anyone could practise it. A large number of eminent persons from the tricity attended the talk. The event was supported by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
