Truck driver booked in hit-and-run case

PATIALA:The police have registered a case against an unidentified driver of a truck after a man was killed in a hit-and- run case here today.

Patiala, October 18

The police have registered a case against an unidentified driver of a truck after a man was killed in a hit-and- run case here today. According to complainant Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Mohali, an unidentified driver of the truck rammed his vehicle into the motorcycle of deceased Lovepreet Singh, who was on his way near Jhansla village. Lovepreet was killed in the accident. 

The police have registered a case against an unidentified driver of the truck under Sections 279 (Rash driving) and 304-A (Causing death by negligence) of the IPC here.
