City shuttler Garmia Singh  (in pic) created history as she won both junior and senior titles in the North Zone Badminton Championship in Udaipur, Rajasthan. 

Garmia, who trains under Surinder Mahajan at the Sector 43 Sports Complex, defeated Delhi’s Deepshikha 22-20 21-19 to clinch the junior title, while she upset current Haryana senior state champion Ira Sharma 21-19 14-21 21-13 to pocket the senior title. — TNS
