The CIA staff, Kharar, nabbed two drug peddlers with 100 grams of heroin. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered against Preet Singh and Manjit Singh, both residents of Ajnala, at the Kharar City police station.
Sub-Inspector Sukhdeep Kaur said they were patrolling near Khanpur Chowk on Friday evening, when they noticed two persons coming from the Kurali side. On seeing the police, they became nervous and tried to escape. The police overpowered them and recovered 50 gm of heroin from each.
