Two women among four booked for murder

PATIALA:A resident of Mohali district has alleged that in-laws of his daughter killed her and cremated her without informing him.

Patiala, April 17

A resident of Mohali district has alleged that in-laws of his daughter killed her and cremated her without informing him. 

Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Dhakoli, has alleged that his daughter Nancy (20) was recently married and her in-laws had been harassing her for no reason. He said someone informed him on Tuesday that in-laws of the girl had killed and cremated her.

Baljit Singh, Lakhvir Singh, Jwinder Kaur and Meenu, residents of the Shambu block, have been booked in this regard. 

The police have registered a case against the accused under Sections 302 (murder), 201 (causing disappearance of evidence of offence), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Inidan Penal Code.
