Students, teachers and NSS programme officers of Punjabi University and affiliated colleges will take out ‘Vatavaran Chetna’ rally on October 17.
Paramvir Singh, NSS coordinator, Punjabi University, said, the NSS wings of various colleges had been divided into 12 units according to districts.
He said rallies would be taken out by programme officers, students and volunteers from 247 colleges of the university.
He said that the aim of rallies was to spread the message against paddy stubble burning.
Students and teachers will create awareness about the ill-effects of burning paddy among people.
