Vivek boys, Satluj girls log win

PANCHKULA:Vivek High School, Sector 38, and Satluj Public School, Sector 4, won the Satluj six-a-side football tournament for boys and girls category, respectively.

Vivek High School, Sector 38, and Satluj Public School, Sector 4, won the Satluj six-a-side football tournament for boys and girls category, respectively. 

In the boys final, the Vivek High boys defeated hosts Satluj Public School by two goals. Tanveer Sekhon and Vasu Arora scored one goal each for the Vivek High boys. 

In the girls category, Team A of Satluj School defeated Team B 2-0 to claim the title. Shubhpreet scored both the goals. A total of 13 teams - Satluj Public School, Panchkula, St John High School, Vivek High School,  St. Solider School, Vivek International School, Baddi, Shemford Futuristic School, Pinjore, Jainendra School and Hansraj Public School - participated in the event. 

Earlier, Saupin’s Public School, Sector 9, played a 1-1 draw against Vivek High School, Chandigarh, in a six-a-side football league match at Satluj Public School, Sector 4, here, on Saturday
