Woman invites man for date, takes away Rs 30K

NABHA:A woman allegedly lured a resident of Khanna for having sex and took away Rs 30,000 from him after wrongfully confining and thrashing the victim at her house.

A woman allegedly lured a resident of Khanna for having sex and took away Rs 30,000 from him after wrongfully confining and thrashing the victim at her house.

The victim Jagdeep Singh, a native of Ambala, and presently residing as a tenant at Lalheri Road, Khanna, in his complaint to the police said the accused woman, Narinder Kaur, had invited him over phone and asked him to reach at Tarkhedi Chowk in Bhadson. 

He said when he reached there; the woman took her to a house in Sandhu Colony and added that there were already five persons whom he identified as Charanjit Kaur, Jeet Kaur, Neeraj, Kaku and Kuldeep Singh were present.

He alleged that the accused locked him inside a room and thrashed him up besides taking away his mobile phone and an ATM card. Jagdeep further alleged that the accused demanded Rs 30,000 from him, and later freed them. 

The Bhadson police have registered a case under Sections 383, 420, 342, 120 of the IPC against the six accused and further investigations were on. However, no arrests had been made till the filing of the report. SHO Bhadson Harmanpreet Singh could not be contacted despite repeated attempts. — TNS
