Youth booked for raping teen

AMBALA:The local police have booked a youth for allegedly raping a minor girl (17) in Ambala City on Thursday evening.

The local police have booked a youth for allegedly raping a minor girl (17) in Ambala City on Thursday evening.

The accused has been identified as Aman, a resident of Ambala City.

A case has been registered under Sections 4 and 8 of the POCSO Act at the Women Police Station.

Station House Officer (SHO) Sunita Dhaka said, “The victim’s statement has been recorded. The accused is yet to be arrested.”
