Yuvraaj Hara and Brahmjot Singh claimed top two positions, respectively, in the category-A on the concluding day of the 2nd MGR Golf Cup 2019, organised by Mohali Golf Range Sector 65, here.  

Avtar Singh won the category-B event, while Kabir Guron finished second.  Ivan Jolly and Krish Chawla were the top two finishers, respectively, in category-C. Sidak Talwar won the category-D event, while Sanchit Handa finished second. 

In category-E, Fatehbir Singh and Aryanveer Grewal claimed the top two positions, respectively, while in the category-F Saurabh Talwar and Ahvanyan Gupta finished among top two finishers. In the girls’ category,  Vilbar Dhanoa won the category-A event, while in the category- B,  Mehr Nijjer claimed first position and Janya finished second. Suheesha Handa was the sole winner of category-C, while in the category-D, Rabhiya Handa and Gunika Bhargava took away the top two positions, respectively.  

Rabab Kahlon won the category-E title and Ishnoor Walia finished second, while in the category-F, Gulmyrah Uppal claimed the top spot and Gairat Kaur finished second. In the women category 18-50, Dr Akal Kala won the top position and Meenaz Melhan finished second. 

Jagjeet Kaur (category 50-60) and Amarjeet Kaur (category 65-75) were the sole winners of women's category. Manu Bahuguna and Pranjal Bahuguna were the top two performers of men's 18-50 category, while in the category 50-65 events, Piyush Bahuguna claimed the first spot and Jagan Nath finished second. 

Jagdish Kumar won the category 65-75 event, while KS Jhamb finished second and in the category 75 + event, Dr SS Sodhi finished first and DS Chahabra finished second. 

Jaanvi, Zubair, Dr Akal Kala and Dr SS Sodhi won the straightest drive event, while Dharmendra and Jeevanjeet Singh were the winners of staff competition. The team of Vivek High School — Jairaj Singh ,Sidak Talwar, Vilbar Dhanoa and Sanchit-won the inter-school title, while the team of Yuvraaj Hara, Mohul Dhingra, Kabir Guron  and Adityla Singla-won the MGR Cup 2019. — TNS
