Blame game over regularisation of unauthorised colonies in Delhi continues with union minister Hardeep Singh Puri asking Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to ensure that his colleagues don’t mislead people of the city by running a “smear campaign” on the issue.

In a letter to Kejriwal, Puri said the regularisation of unauthorised colonies was stalled due to the “inaction” on the part of the AAP government and its delay in commissioning the survey to decide the boundaries of these colonies.

However, the Delhi government dubbed the letter "full of falsehoods" claiming the Centre has always opposed the regularisation of unauthorised colonies and for around two years the Centre kept sitting on the file. — TNS
