New Delhi, December 7
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on Friday unveiled the plaque of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Marg at Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) followed by the institute's 51st convocation ceremony wherein she stressed the need for "value-based" journalism and appreciated the encouragement being given to journalism courses in Indian languages.
The 46th annual convocation of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was also held today at its campus. It was addressed by Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu in presence of Union Health Minister JP Nadda who stated the government has plans for rapid expansion of medical education in the country.
