One person died while three others were injured in an accident when a Tata Safari collapsed with a divider and then rammed into a tempo on the other side of the road in Ashram today.
The incident took place on ring road near Lajpat Nagar, said DCP Chinmoy Biswal (south east).
Police shifted four persons to AIIMS Trauma Centre out of which one person, identified as Dharmender (29), a resident of Sangam Vihar, was declared bought dead. Dharmender was in Tata Safari.
Two of its occupants — Parveen Singhal and Kapil Panwar — both residents of Devali village in Southeast Delhi, are unfit for statement, the DCP said.
Tempo driver Hukum Dev Yadav is also admitted to Trauma Centre and unfit for the statement.
