Two motor thieves targeting residential parking areas held

NEW DELHI:Two motor thieves — Amit Kumar (22) and Ankit (21) — with modus-operandi of targeting residential parking areas to steal vehicles have been arrested by Crime Branch, R K Puram here with a recovery of five motorcycles from them.

Two motor thieves — Amit Kumar (22) and Ankit (21) — with modus-operandi of targeting residential parking areas to steal vehicles have been arrested by Crime Branch, R K Puram here with a recovery of five motorcycles from them.

On October 12, head constable Pankaj had received an information that two master mind motor-thieves targeting residential parkings would be coming to sell the motorcycles in Delhi. On this information, police laid a trap and apprehended the both involved in motorcycle thefts from Bhajanpura , said DCP Dr G Ram Gopal Naik (crime branch).

During sustained interrogation, they disclosed that they wanted to live lavish life and wanted to impress their girl friends with this, he added.
