Jalandhar, October 16

The police arrested 11 persons for their involvement in gambling here today. As per information, police sources informed SI Praveen Kumar that some unidentified persons were openly gambling at Abadpura locality.

The police raided the area and arrested the accused. Other gamblers managed to escape. The police seized Rs 1,03,200 from the accused. A case has been registered under the Gambling Act. — TNS
