Sarvhitkari Shiksha Samiti and Vidhya Bharti opened their 127th ‘Sarvhitkari Vidhya Mandir’ (affiliated to CBSE ) in Punjab at Phagwara on Sunday.
An exporter Om Uppal inaugurated the school building in a function held at the school premises after performing a yagya on Sunday. Vidhya Bharti (North Zone) president Parmod Kumar, RSS State pracharak Ashok Pal and Phagwara MLA Som Parkash were the guests of honour. They disclosed that Vidhya Bharti was running more than 26,000 such schools throughout the country.
Managing committee president Anil Kochhar, manager Shiv Handa and Ramesh Sachdeva, urged people to send their kids to such schools so that the upcoming generation could be made aware of the age-old Indian culture and traditions. Kochhar himself announced to admit his own kids in these schools.
