Convention on technical education at DAVIET

JALANDHAR: Indian Society for Technical Education Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir Section, organised ISTE section-level convention for faculty of technical institutions for the 2018, here at DAVIET.

Indian Society for Technical Education Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir Section, organised ISTE section-level convention for faculty of technical institutions for the 2018, here at DAVIET. The basic purpose of the convention was to create invaluable intellectual wealth to understand the emergent transitions in technical education, along with the ways to keep up with the ever changing domain in the age of ICT.

The theme of the convention was ‘Transitions in Technical Education: Causes and Concerns’ and the experts from academia and industry discussed the emergent trends in the field of technical education along with the rationale for the change.

Manoj Kumar, Principal DAVIET, in his address stated that the need of the hour was to realise the basic reasons behind the changes in the field of technical education.—TNS
