Jalandhar: Darshan Academy organised an eye check-up camp for students and staff under the observation of Principal Dinesh Singh. The specialised doctors of the Thind Eye Hospital were invited for the check up. Dr Tejinder Singh, Anil Shrivastav and their staff members N Jha and Chanpreet Singh also accompanied them for the check-up camp. Doctors examined the eyes of the students. They asked the students to take care of their eyes. Principal Dinesh Singh along with manager RS Gautam thanked the team of doctors for giving valuable tips to students. TNS

Jalandhar: At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya Jalandhar, students of PG diploma in Garment Construction and Fashion Designing semester – 2nd brought laurels to the institution by acquiring top university positions in the results of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Harpreet Kaur got 4th position in the university with 661/700 marks. Rozi Rani bagged the 12th position with 648/700 marks. The whole class showed its mettle by getting distinction with 90 per cent and above marks. Principal of the college Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated students and the faculty of PG department of fashion designing for the achievement. TNS
