Kids got talent competition

Jalandhar: CT Group of Institutions organised the finale of ‘Kids got talent’ event at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, Shahpur Campus on Monday.



Jalandhar: CT Group of Institutions organised the finale of ‘Kids got talent’ event at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, Shahpur Campus on Monday. The event was supported by Sanjay Karate, LG and Wonderland. As many as 147 contestants gave the auditions last week, out of which 64 finalists competed in various categories, including dance, singing, fashion show, fancy dress and martial arts. The event was divided into three categories in (U 3-6) year category, (U- 6-9) year category and (U-9-12) year category. The event was inaugurated with the lighting of lamp ceremony. The judges for the finale were from music and entertainment industry. The contestants hailed from various cities of the state, including Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala and Jalandhar etc. In singing, (U 6-9) category, Rishika stood first. Hartej bagged the second position. In martial arts: (U 6-9) category, Baljot Singh stood first. Gurvir and Angad remained second. In fancy dress competition: Alyana Verma and Harshaan Singh stood first and second (U 3-6) year category. Prataksh and Smiley stood first and second in 6-9 years category respectively.TNS

Inter-house debate contest

Jalandhar: IVY World School, Jalandhar, organised an inter-house debate competition. Students were divided in two categories grade IV to VI and grade VII to IX. The event was conducted under the observation of the principal and judges. The judges appreciated the efforts of the students. The principal of the school S Chauhan applauded the confidence of the students. The winning team of the Champions house from category 1 and Winners house from category 2 were awarded. TNS
