Minor abducted, suspect at large

PHAGWARA: On a complaint filed by Surinder Kaur, a resident of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar locality, the police have registered a case under Sections 363 and 366-A of the IPC against a youth Amrit Singh, of the same locality, on the charge of abducting the minor daughter of the complainant on the pretext of marrying her.



Phagwara, May 23

On a complaint filed by Surinder Kaur, a resident of Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar locality, the police have registered a case under Sections 363 and 366-A of the IPC against a youth Amrit Singh, of the same locality, on the charge of abducting the minor daughter of the complainant on the pretext of marrying her. The girl is studying at Class IX. No arrest has been made so far. — OC
