Over 10.18L cast votes in Jalandhar

Of the total 16,15,171 voters in Jalandhar, 10,18,235 voters cast their votes in the Lok Sabha polling held her yesterday.

The total polling percentage has been revised to 63.04 per cent, going up from the figure of 62.92 per cent which was available till late evening yesterday. The poll percentage got revised after midnight after the exact figures of votes polled till the last time came to the administration from all 1,872 polling booths.

Of the total voters, 5.19 voters are men and 4.99 lakh voters are women. Since the total number of voters in Phillaur was high at 2.01 lakh, the polling remained the highest here with 65,848 men and 66,050 women casting their votes from the Assembly segment. — TNS
