Tanda youth dies of heart attack in US

A youth from Rada village in Tanda block died of heart attack in the US on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Harkirat Singh.

Deceased’s father Balwinder Singh said his son was working with a hotel in Richmond, Indiana, for the past three years.

He said his son had gone to market and when he sat in his car after buying goods, he died of heart attack. Harkirat’s maternal uncle Gagandeep Singh, who lives in the US, told Balwinder about the death over phone.

Harkirat’s parents have urged the government to help them get visa to cremate their son’s body in the US.
