Blue Colour Day celebrated

Ludhiana:Students of Ryan International School celebrated ‘Blue Colour Day’ with great enthusiasm. The day commenced with an innovative activity and students played various games and learned more about blue colour.

Ludhiana:Students of Ryan International School celebrated ‘Blue Colour Day’ with great enthusiasm. The day commenced with an innovative activity and students played various games and learned more about blue colour.

Teacher training programme 

Blossoms Convent School organised a workshop to train teachers. Resource person Renu Vashisht asked teachers to create a child-centric environment in classrooms. She explained how to deal with children and bring out better output. Dr Amarjit Kaur Naaz appreciated the resource person and thanked her for inculcating latest knowledge in teachers.

Saplings planted 

Tiny tots of The Learning Station planted saplings while celebrating Grandparents Day. They presented pots to their grandparents as a gift. Name of each kid was written on the pot.

Teej celebrated

DN Everest Model High School students celebrated Teej with great fervour. Children came dressed in traditional Punjabi attire. Girls performed giddha and enjoyed kikli. Sweets and prizes were also distributed among students.

Green Land School 

Teej was celebrated with much fanfare at Green Land Senior Secondary Public School, Jalandhar bypass, Ludhiana. Students performed giddha, staged tarinjhans and danced to the tunes of popular folk songs with great gusto. Children also relished kheer, pooras and other traditional Punjabi cuisines.

Student council elected

Police DAV Public School organised an event to elect new student council. The occasion was graced by the presence of Ludhiana DCP Ashwani Kapur. Tushar Sethia and Ishita were elected as head boy and head girl. The council members took oath and pledged to perform their duties faithfully and diligently. — TNS
