Ludhiana: To introduce the colour red to the tiny tots, DAV Public School, Pakhowal Road, celebrated red colour day. Children were dressed in different shades of red. Red-coloured fruits, flowers and objects were displayed for the students to be identified through various games and play-way activities.
Story-telling session
BCM Kindergarten, Chandigarh Road, organised a week-long story telling session for the kids of UKG from May 15 to 21. Mothers of students were resource persons for the session. They narrated stories in an interesting manner using facial expressions, voice modulations and props.
Turban-tying competition
A turban-tying competition was organised at GMT International Public School, Kakowal Road, for the students of Class VIII to XII. Students were seen adorned in vibrant coloured turbans. First position was bagged by Varinder Singh of Class X, Sahibdeep of Class XII stood second, while third position was bagged by Simranjot Singh of Class XI.
Beat-the-heat activity
Guru Nanak Public School, Birmi, organised a beat the heat activity for the kindergarten wing of the school. Tiny tots enjoyed amongst themselves and had a hands-on experience of making fresh lime drinks with their teachers.
