Aksh Rana scored an unbeaten half-century before Harnoor Singh claimed a six-wicket haul to help Chandigarh Cricket Association, affiliated to Haryana, register a 60-run win over Karnal Cricket Association in their Haryana Inter-District U-14 Cricket Tournament match here today.

Defending a modest total of 182 runs, Chandigarh bowlers led by Harnoor struck at regular intervals to bundle out Karnal for 122 runs in 47.5 overs. Harnoor returned a match haul of 6/17. He was ably supported by Karanveer Singh (1/6), Ranvijay (1/15) and Ishaan Garg (1/23).

Kabir Arvind Malik made a valiant 63 but could not find a partner to support the Karnal innings.

Earlier, electing to bat, Chandigarh boys made 182/9 in 50 overs. Rana scored an unbeaten 49-ball 50, while Nikhil Kumar added 34 runs to the total.

Aryan was the most effective bowler for Karnal, claiming 3/35. Hemant Bansal took 2/22.

Chandigarh Cricket Association had registered a six-wicket win over Kaithal Cricket Association in their previous match earlier this week.
