The row over pardon granted to Dera Sacha Sauda head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a blasphemy case refuses to die down.
Representatives of various Sikh organisations today called for “Sarbat Khalsa” (congregation of Sikh community) on November 10.
A meeting was held at Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan, Model Town, to chalk out the schedule for “Sarbat Khalsa”.
The representatives, including SAD (A) leader Simranjit Singh Mann and All India Sikh Students Federation (AISSF) president Karnail Singh Peermohammad, announced to hold “Sarbat Khalsa” at Tarn Taran.
Mann said the representatives of various Sikh organisations would meet again on October 18 in Jalandhar to form a committee for charting the further course of action.
