Ludhiana, February 14

The Mahila Congress today staged a protest against the Modi government at Clock Tower opposite BJP office over a sharp increase in the price of LPG. Mamta Devi from the Punjab unit said: “To ensure profits for big companies, the Modi government has made the LPG costlier which has disturbed the budget of the middle class household families.”

Leena Taparia, district president, said those leaders, who earlier raised a hue and cry over the increasing cost of LPG, had now become mute spectators. — TNS
