Chandigarh: The city on Friday reported two cases of Covid-19 and no death due to the virus. A total of seven patients were cured of the disease in the past 24 hours. —TNS

One succumbs to virus in Mohali

Mohali: One person died while another tested positive for Covid-19 in Mohali on Friday. Seven persons were cured of the disease in the past 24 hours. The district Covid tally now stands at 68,739 with 67,639 recoveries. There are 34 active cases. The virus has so far claimed 1,066 lives in the district — TNS

No case, no death in Panchkula

Panchkula: No fresh Covid case was reported from the district for the second consecutive day on Friday, keeping the tally unchanged at 30,738. The toll also remained at 377. While 30,342 people have recovered from the infectious disease so far, 19 cases are still active. The recovery rate stands at 98.71 per cent — TNS
