Chandigarh, January 14
As many as 187 fresh cases of Covid were reported on Thursday, taking the tally of the infected persons to 2,65,803.
The death toll reached 2,972 with six more fatalities. Gurugram and Faridabad reported a maximum of 34 cases each, followed by Karnal (19) and Panchkula (17).
Faridabad, Karnal, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar and Jhajjar reported one death each.
