Chandigarh reports 40 new Covid-19 infections, three deaths

Chandigarh, June 15

Chandigarh reported 40 new Covid-19 cases, a health bulletin from the union territory’s administration said on Tuesday.

This is the lowest number of infections recorded in three months.

Chandigarh now has 486 active cases, the bulletin said. Three deaths take fatality count to 797. The union territory recorded 1,608 tests over 24 hours.

The UT also recorded 58 recoveries.
