Chandigarh: The city on Wednesday reported 43 new cases of Covid-19 and one death. The number of active cases has come down to 267 as 63 patients were discharged. — TNS

Two succumb, 33 infected in Mohali

Mohali: Two Covid-19 deaths and 33 new cases were reported from the district on Wednesday, while 48 patients recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours. Among the new cases, seven were reported from Mohali, six from Dera Bassi, three from Kharar, 13 from Dhakoli, one each from Banur and Boothgarh and two from Lalru. Of the 68,110 positive cases reported so far, 66,698 patients have been cured. —TNS

No death, eight cases in Panchkula

Panchkula: The district on Wednesday reported eight fresh coronavirus cases, taking the overall tally to 30,540. The district no new death and the toll remained at 372. — TNS
