Multiple complaints were received about delays and irregularities in functioning of the PHED in Adampur, with the most serious issue being waterlogging. During recent rain, water had accumulated in front of BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi’s residence near grain market and in several other areas. These conditions raised concerns over poor drainage system in Adampur.

Following complaints, a 12-member panel from the Haryana Assembly visited Adampur today. The panel headed by Chairman Krishan Lal Middha included MLAs Mohammad Ilyas, Laxman Yadav, Naresh Selwal, Kapoor Singh, Satish Kumar, Satpal Jamba, Mohammad Izrail, Maman Khan, Balwan Singh Daulatpuria, Bimla Chaudhary and Manju Chaudhary. — TNS
