12 Noida, 3 Delhi schools receive bomb threat emails
Students, staff members evacuated during board exams
At least 12 schools in Noida and three in Delhi received bomb threat emails on Thursday during the ongoing Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examinations, leading to evacuations and searches by security agencies.
According to police officials, the schools reported receiving threat emails during exam hours.
In Delhi, the threats were sent to CRPF Public School in Rohini, St. Thomas School in Dwarka, and DAV Centenary Public School in Paschim Enclave.
As a precautionary measure, the authorities evacuated students and staff from the school premises while search operations were carried out.
The police, along with along with bomb disposal squads and sniffer dogs, reached the premises and carried out search operations. No suspicious items were found during checking. As a precautionary measure, fire tenders and rescue teams were also deployed.
