The Delhi Police have arrested three gang members for allegedly cheating an elderly woman and stealing her jewellery worth Rs 4 lakh, an official said on Sunday.

The accused, identified as Prem (22), Rahul (25) and Poonam (35), are part of “gaddi gang”, the police said.

According to the police, the incident took place on February 19 when four persons approached an elderly woman in a market. They showed her fake currency bundles and convinced her to handover her jewellery.
